IN COLLABORATION – and a series of dinner events:
Due to a desire to collaborate with some of the best chefs the UK has to offer, we are running a series of dinner events and pop ups.
April 27th – We welcome back Restaurant FIKA for another collab… everyone who has been before knows this one is super special!! Nathan Wall joins us at The George. Nathan has an incredible CV and well know for his long standing Head Chef post at Fischers Baslow.
May 4th – we are joined by the ever popular Jon Hardy from the glorious The Lighthouse down the road at Boylestone. Both Jon and Jordan cooking together will be a winning combo. Book here for your table.
This one is in 2 rounds. Book online with The Lighthouse for May 3rd where we will be there with the team in Boylestone.
May 18th – NEWS INDEED! The George & Lovage in collaboration – we join forces with a local favourite Lee Smith who will be cooking up a storm with Jordan here at The George!
Lee brings his Michelin star experience as well as becoming a finalist for his region in the 2019 Great British Menu. Jordan, as we know, with his esteemed 4 rosette achievements from Adam Reid at The French will make this one an exciting combination to look forward to!
June 29th – The George goes to Lovage for round 2. Bookings should be made using Lovage.
July 28th – Louisa Ellis makes a return. Louisa is good friend to The George and a super talented chef, working in 1 and 2 star kitchens and making the Masterchef professionals final! Louisa now has a thriving business of her own.
September 14th: The Blind Bull; Luke Hawkins and we return to The Blind Bull 18th October
And because they’re very busy superstars, we have some more dates to be announced for some very special people.
A fantastic opportunity to see what we are all about, taste some of our amazing food and ingredients and talk to our team. All in a beautiful destination with the usual laid back, warm approach we are famous for.
Our collaborations will be priced between £80 – £120 per person to cover the cost of the food, love and passion which has gone into creating these exclusive evenings.
Cancellations hurt! Card authentication is required with booking. If you cancel 72 hours prior to an event & we can resell your place you will not be charged. Better still, try and get a friend to come instead as we would be sorry if we’re unable to avoid billing you.
Drinks are not included, allowing you to choose your own tipple, but wine recommendations will be made, and some special vintages may make an appearance from time to time!
