Part 1: Join us at The Boat inn Lichfield for a special collab with Great British Menu, 3 rosette Chef Liam Dillon!
Part 2: Liam comes to The George at Alstonefield September 28th.
Wednesday September 14th – Nathan Wall FIKA pop up at THe George! Supported by our own team, Nathan will bring Fika to us for a special evening.
November (date tbc): MICHELIN starred Paul Leonard from The Forest side, Grasmere comes to The George to join Jordan for a super special Tasting menu evening. We are very priveleged to host Paul and we would encourage early booking.
Having previously cooked under the likes of Marcus Wareing and Andrew Fairlie, Leonard’s Michelin experience also includes retaining a star at The Isle of Eriska and 4 rosettes at The Devonshire Arms, Bolton Abbey
January’23 (date tbc) – The George & Lovage – we join forces with a local favourite here at The George.
A fantastic opportunity to see what we are all about, taste some of our amazing food and ingredients and talk to our team. All in a beautiful destination with the usual laid back, warm approach we are famous for.

We will need a minimum overall attendance of 12 or more to run the evening and will let you know asap if we cannot as you may wish to book for our usual dinner menu another night!

Our collaborations will be priced between £60 – £100 per person to cover the cost of the food, love and passion which has gone into creating these exclusive evenings.
Cancellations hurt! Card authentication is required with booking. If you cancel 72 hours prior to an event & we can resell your place you will not be charged. Better still, try and get a friend to come instead as we would be sorry if we’re unable to avoid billing you.
Drinks are not included, allowing you to choose your own tipple, but wine recommendations will be made, and some special vintages may make an appearance from time to time!
Want to join?
A cross between a dinner party and a restaurant, you get the informality of a home setting but with the added benefit of a restaurant service – no cleaning, cooking, table-laying, serving or clearing up! Just one big table of glorious food, nice folk and laid back elegance, plus a sneak at what our talented chefs are up to… There may be an occasional guest speaker too, but think laid back story telling rather than a seminar.
