As we are sure you are aware our menus are small but perfectly formed, and all based around meat and fish.
Dietary requirements: Whilst we follow best practice at all times, we would like to highlight that all dishes we serve are produced in an environment where allergens are also prepared and cooked. Therefore we are unable to guarantee the environment will be completely allergen free.
We cannot cater for food dislikes, but do please notify us of any strict dietary requirements in advance of your visit. Failure to make us aware of dietary restrictions will cause limited options to be available and we hate to disappoint.
Restaurant Cancellation Policy:
We politely ask that you arrive for your dinner booking 15 minutes in advance of your reservation time.
We respectfully ask that 72 hours’ notice (5 days for a tasting menu evening) is given prior to the booking date should you wish to cancel or amend the number within your party. If you are unable to cancel using your online booking confirmation, please email us at email@example.com
Failure to inform us within this time may result in a fixed charge of £25 per person for a lunch reservation or £50 per person for a dinner reservation using the card used to authenticate your booking. If we are able to resell your table then no charge will be made, or we will refund accordingly.
In the current climate, we request that guests who have cancelled their reservation with less than 72 hours notice due to COVID health concerns must rebook within a 3 month period following their original booking date to avoid a cancellation charge.
For a reduction of numbers within 72 hours of the arrival time, we will apply the cancellation charge to the cancelled places.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. However, this is to minimise the cost of cancelled tables to the restaurant when other diners could be catered for.
*Pre-orders may be requested for parties of 8 or more and we will ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit upon confirmation of your booking.
Sorry, but we are unable to accommodate:
- Children age 10 years or under in the dining room, instead we can seat you in our cosy bar and snug areas. We do not have a childrens menu.
- Parties of six or more in the dining room – our snug can accommodate and we have exclusive private dining options – please ask
**Larger parties are welcomed and we can host you in our private dining areas or our coach house if required. Please talk to us about our additional menu options.
We love dogs but we do respect that not everyone does, and because we often get super busy and are tight on space we restrict well behaved dogs to joining us Thursday – Saturday lunchtimes – in our bar area.
These tables fill up quickly, so you must let us know to avoid disapointment. If the tables are booked, its a no for your dog. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and tucked up under the tables.
Please make sure to add a note on your booking enquiry. Tell us you would like to bring your dog to avoid any disappointment!
We do not allow dogs in our dining room and snug (assistance dogs accepted) or during evening service.
At weekends, we also allow well behaved dogs on leads (we have free range chickens) in our Coach House Bar, and of course in warmer months, we also have plenty of space outside.
